DISTURBING: Iraqi War Pics

A really disturbing site. I never really tried to judge the war in Iraq as media hypes and twists thigns up and Politicians never show realy motives until a long period has passed, but these pictures are just horrific especially

If you have kids it makes it even worse seeing that. I think people realize that "collateral damage" means that will happen, but it makes me sick the way women and children have been deliberately used as human shields in the war.
agh that is just TERRIBLE. i'm so sorry this kind of stuff has happened to ANYONE. i couldn't immagine living through that. i dont know what would be worse. living through it, or dying from it?
Its a shame when innocent women, children, and even men get caught in the cross fire. Its really easy to say "thats war" when you dont see the effects personally. My grandmother escaped the **** concentration camps. The things she told me and the videos I have seen on what they did is just horrific! Unfortunately, sometimes war is necessary(and i'm not saying the war in iraq), and the only thing we can do is pray for the well being of the people over there and hope that it doesn't last much longer.

man you must be joking.
we get probably 80% of our oil from these people.
If that was to go away I would see gas price to be $10 a gallon if not more.
Middle East is a situation we got into and we must get it through. there is no easy way out of there. Plus we have our good friends the Israelis there. If we walk away hmm..
Remember what happen to Afganistan. While the Soviets were there we help them all we could. When they left we left as well. A few years later it turns into some wacko super religious place that help mr a$$hole Bin Laden kill 3k Americans. Now put those two together with unlimited funds from oil sales. Daaahhh..

It's blocked from work but I'm sure it's much like a lot of the other photos I've seen.
The thing that you do have to take into consideration is that it's not like we go into towns and start wasting little kids and women and children. It does happen of course. You also have to consider that it's pretty much standard practice that these rebels use women and children as sheilds because they know that our morals and our training says to avoid civilian casualties. On top of that, a lot of these woman and children ARE armed themselves. I saw a british video where a little kid...maybe 11 ran out into the street with a busted up Ak47 and a kid maybe 16 was shooting an RPG. I've seen photos of women holding fire arms as well.
The thing is, we are not fighting an army hear. For the most part we are fighting civilians...militants...former military out of uniform..etc. The civilian casualty numbers are not accurate.
They are short on weapons...so when someone dies..someone else picks up their weapons. Or we pick them up..then some journalist comes along and takes a picture of 5 unarmed "civilians" dead. So in the media it looks like we are running around capping women in children.
What would you do if you had to clear a town..house by house. And the other side is hiding inside houses surrounded with families or in churches...that we can't enter?
I just hope this crap gets under control soon so we can turn the policing over to them and get most of our troops out of there. I have 2 friends that just enlisted. One an MP...17 freaking years old. The other 19. Going in as a combat medic. They are going to station him with a Ranger platoon.

The best part? The movie of Rumsfeld's backpeddling. I wish he'd leave with Ashrcroft. Most people who **** up like that get fired. Imagine the congressional voting before the war had Rice and Rumsfeld not lied through their teeth.
