I'm beginning to like this town. Actually I knew I liked Discovery bay even before I bought a house here, it's Brentwood I wasn't too sure about. It has it's nice areas but at the same time has some areas that need a little TLC.

I'm rolling through the drive through at In & Out Burger over by the safeway/petco/target/...anyway, the guy in the drive through says, "Sounds good for a 4 cyl." My girl sitting next to me got a kick out of it.

One thing I noticed about this town is A: Lots of modded imports and B: Hardly any cops and C: nobody drives slow.

Anyway, I'm a transplant from Marin county and although Marin is beautiful, it's overwhelmingly populated, mostly by snobs. Also, I think there's one cop to every one citizen out there.

 

Be careful on the Byron/Bethany highway, highway patrol does frequent it. My cousin got popped for 110mph on it, not good.

 

I lived off Byron highway for many years, and yes CHP and Sherrifs are out there quite a bit.
