early one morning before 7 am, a local cop on the freeway cut me off going 70 without signaling (pet peeve). So I got up to 75 and cut him off back without the blinker. Yeah, I got pulled over.

Oh, him driving 70 was no excuse since he we going to traffic court....bastards.

 

A college cop story, but: when I was in college, they had a rule that you had to contest a ticket within 7 days or you had to pay it, no matter what. So the campus cops would always write up all kinds of insane tickets during finals. One year they got really carried away, I got one for "parking in lot B2 with a B2 permit." My brother got one for "parking in a fire lane" and "parking obstructing traffic" while parked in a legal spot off the steet. The next year the university took away parking tickets from the campus police and set up a student group to do parking enforcement.
