Spent my afternoon up on Mines and all the way through to Mt Hamilton. I was coming down from the observatory and met a silver sedan with aftermarket wheels and exhaust....did the wave.

I went about 5 miles past the bridge by the CDF, then turned around to head back up Hamilton and back into San Antonio Valley and eventually back to Livermore.

Near the top of Hamilton there was a horde of GM F-cars (Camaro/Firebird) coming down......alot of guys were shooting video from the T-tops! Some dude in a red Viper was cruising with them too.

Once I got back into Alameda County (about 20 miles from Livermore on Mines) I was making good time and lo and behold I came up on a beautiful midnight blue 996 Carrera with an elderly guy driving. There were 2 SUV's in front of him creeping along, so we didn't get to run a little. But it was still a great day up there, despite the price of 91 octane right now.
