Diablo Mazda Subaru - The saga continues...

So a few days ago a posted a thread about how my rear brake lines inexplicably snapped while Diablo Mazda Subaru was parking moving my car.

Go to https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ht=rear+brakes
for more details about that

Anyway, we've came to an agreement, which was more than fair on my part, about how the issue should be resolved. So yesterday I go to pickup my car from the service dept only to find that whomever parked my car ran into the side of the hill while parking. As I walked up to the car I noticed it was parked extremely close to the hill. With closer inspection I notice when the car was parked the bumper rubbed up against the embankment and then they must have backed down it after realizing they hit the hill.

Needless to say the lower half of my bumper is now all scratched up. Being completely furious at this point I march back up to the showroom looking for the owner. The best I could find was the general manager. I show him the damage done to my car (including the issue with my brakes).

Thankfully he agrees that this is completely bull**** and ensured me that they will take care of everything and give me a loaner while my car is at the bodyshop. I'll keep you guys posted to see if he actually follows through with any of this. I'm on the verge of calling a lawyer at this point......

Doesn't look possible with the set of lines that snapped. These lies are behind the caliper and I don't see any feasible way for the lift to catch them. It's still a complete mystery.....

Sometime between the day that I test drove my WRX and the day I bought it, someone did the same thing to my front bumper at Diablo. I didn't notice until I got the car home and the car was used so I couldn't prove they did it after I began the purchase process, but I know they did it. When I picked up the car is was parked nose first VERY close to the dirt hill on the right of the building.

yea they fixed it

be sure to inspect it when they give it to you the first time though and complain if its not done right

they had to "redo" my car 3 times before it was done to my satisfaction.

Took me a month to get my car back

They gave me an outback wagon as a loaner

I offroaded the **** out of that thing..i figured they abused my car so i'm entitled to it

I got their loaner full of mud on the underside, it was raining too

i'm impressed with those things, they do well off road

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same idiot who keeps doing this over and over again to peoples cars. Before I told the service advisor what happened to my car I asked who parked it. Of course he didn't know. I'll try and get a name...

yea they managed to rip my sub out by abusing my car. I was totally pissed. I drive the **** out of it so wtf were they doin? ebrakes all over?

On top of that i've seen them try and move the cars on the hill, and the guy sliding legacy all over trying to get up/down and he need about 6 more inches of ground clearance so of course the car/bumper took the beating.

I'm like great, and you are trying to sell us a car?? learn how to drive.

Thats the problem with America, all these dumbasses become the service people because everyone else thinks they are too smart or good to do it when a jobs a ***in job, so of course the bottom of the food chain is doing what we consider to be bottom food chain things. No wonder we aren't satisfied.

we should set up a way to see who is doing it and then make the hill a little bigger if you know what I mean. j/k about the last part, but really find out who it is and make sure the dealership is aware of who is doing this crap.

Here's an update: So they painted my car yesterday however when I went to pick it up I noticed that there was a handful of dirt in my right exhaust tip. Apparently these ****faces backed my car up in the embankment too!!!!! Both of my exhaust tips are scratched up now. I'll be calling the general manager this morning asking for new exhaust tips.

I was told that some 19 year old kid was the one responsible for parking my car. Apparently this is too much responsibility for this idiot since he can't seem to get it right. He's rammed my car into the embankment not once but twice!!

Can a moderator please make a new sticky thread on this forum entitled " How Diablo Mazda Subaru screwed me over" I'm sure it will be updated at least weekly....

you know that if he was to put to much pressure on the exhaust he could have pushed it and therefore put pressure on the turbo and that would cause damage to the intercooler and internals of the engine. You need a 2007 Legacy Spec-B for your troubles in my opinion.

Agreed.....

I think I'll at least ask for new cans and then go from there. Apparently they have it out against all my aftermarket parts. I'm sure if I left it there any longer my boost guage or springs would be next to go. Hey maybe he managed to curb my rims while he was parking it...

just write "learn to park cars asshat" in the side of his car and he may get the clue.
