Detailing the car..
So I want to claybar and wax my WRX, and I have a pretty decent idea as to how to accomplish this. My biggest thing is my headlights, they are faded pretty badly from the car just sitting there so long with no TLC.
I have a dremel and I am curious if there is a polishing wheel I can use with it to polish my headlights with some kind of plastic polish solution.
If this is over kill or if you have a good solution for how to polish headlights please do share!

ask this guy. he'll know the awancer http://www.iwsti.com/forums/detailin...rs-domain.html
I have hard water spots since I bought my ride. Stoner glass cleaner or alcohol wont take the spots off. Someone recommended clay bar'ing the windows. Has anyone had success doing this?
it should work and your window will be so clean. just make sure to keep the window lubricated.
Sorry for trollin' off topic.. but damn I lost count of how many times I just washed my car, and then I go back out after getting more materials or to pull the car in, and there is Bird Crap on it...

Get some good polish and go at it...

By hand will take a while and not as good... Use a buffer if you have one...
After you are done, make sure you polish and wax your headlights from then on... Good luck!

If all else fails, take some very fine grit wet sand paper and go at it. You just need to remove the surface haze and then polish it with some sort of rubbing compound. I've done a few 'yellowed' headlights myself this way and they turned out looking brand new. Just remember to apply a coat of wax/polish to it every time you wax/polish your car. Plastic tends to take more abuse from the elements than paint.

being that you are who you are would you recommend using a soft polishing wheel (meant for plastics) on my dremel? it's the only thing i have like that.
