I know subaru's are safe and I'm all for it, but how does a boulder landing on your hood make it any safer than another car?

The safe body styling of the Subaru caused the boulder to roll forward away from the driver and land safely onto the pavement.

I can vouch for Suby safety. Main reason why I bought another one.

I can relate to this one a bit more.

Dear Subaru,
I bought my WRX wagon because I needed a car with a bit more room for the family and wanted all wheel drive for our trips snowboarding to tahoe. After a couple years I decided to to have a bit of fun and installed a cat-back exhaust. Within a week I had a blown no. 4 cyl ring land, stripped 2nd gear, and got sent to state ref. When I went to the dealership to fix my motor and trans I was informed that I had voided my warranty by racing my car in a SCCA autocross using the SCCA membership you offered me when I bought my car. Even if it were in good running condition my car only blue books now for less than 50% of what the sticker price was in 2004, now in its current condition its only good for stopping the random, earthquake dislodged bolder.
Which I hope happens soon.

Sincerely, half the people on I-club
