Which Dealership to goto?
Which Dealership to goto?
I'm in need of a car soooo I've pretty much decided on getting a WRX (any other suggestions for cars around the same price range?) to tide me over for a couple of years until my sister graduates from HS. I'm looking to just get a 05 Base WRX manual. How much are people paying for the car these days? Which dealership should I go to? I don't really mind the distance as long as its somewhere near the bay area :P. I sent out asking for quotes from like Diablo, Albany, Oakland, SC, and Carlsen. Anyone have experience with Roseville or sac area dealerships? Anyhow thanks for the help.

The guy at Ron Price in SouthSF was a dick - treated me like a sale and my girlfriend like she wasn't there. Steve Litwin @ Downtown subaru in Oakland was fine (not great, but fine) and gave me a fair price on my 05 WRX.
Can't say much about their service dept though - tried to claim that my aftermarket stereo was causing my battery to die, even though it died before the stereo was ever hooked up

Haha and is the Oakland one the same as the Toyota dealership?... my cousin just bought a car there wasn't the greatest service (took a while to process everything) but it didn't really matter cause he knew what he wanted already and took in a paper ad and paid for everything immediatly.

Stay clear of Steven's (Up Sh*t) Creek. Their sales manager is an ***, sales staff are a bit too pushy, they're "service" department offers everything but service.
Carlsen is great, and I've heard good stuff about Santa Cruz.

I bought my 05 STi from Stevens Creek Subaru, and now i wishi i hadent given them the business. I recived the worst customer service known to man! I had a problem with my new STi's Passanger side speaker oscalating improperly in the door side pannel. So i brought it in and they said that they couldent help me because it was 4:30pm and all there techs had gone home for the day. Funny thing is though they told me to bring the vehicle in between the hours of 8am-6pm m-f (which is stated directly on there front door) to have the problem looked at, which i did. When i started to get a little upset (granted i was getting verbal) the manager of the service dept. threatend me "A CUSTOMER" that he would call the police if i didnt leave the premissis. I think i had a right to be upset, A. i was told i could bring the vechicle in which i did in there operating hours and B. i just paid close to $40,000 for a new car that has a speaker that sounds blown to S H I T with less the 300 miles on the vehicle. I reported there service manager to DRIVESUBARU.com who handels there H&R and there looking into his conduct and the manor in which he diffused the situation. I hope that F U C K nut gets fired.

The service manager Rick, right? If so, first class ***. He hung up on me multiple times claiming he had customers he needed to help. Wait, am I not a customer? I've already told Subaru of America about their service department, they (SoA) weren't too happy.
