The Rubicon is not exactly "affordable."
You can try to show, but it's will be difficult without reservations. Oh, and dress up, because it's not a jeans and shirt kind of place. Did I mention it's expensive? The fixed price menus are anywhere from $35 to $85 for 3 or 4 courses, and the wine list is ... extensive. I highly recommend the $10 chocolate dessert. It's to die for. If you want to take your SO for an expensive night out, I recommend the Rubicon (www.sfrubicon.com). You won't be disappointed.
Anyways, have fun at the meet without me. I'm sure I'll be having fun without you guys.
