Day After Thanksgiving Sales
This morning i went out to Best Buy in San Francisco around 6 a.m. to check out the deals they have going on today. Man, the line was around 300 deep, may be more. Who knew people wake would stay in line so long just to get a deal on a CD/RW drive. The people in the front must have been there since 5 a.m. or earlier. Total madness. Instead of wating in line I drove down to Circuit City in Serramonte to wait in another line, but this one was only about 50 people deep. Any one else hit up the stores this morning?

no way, man. I stay as far away from retail establishments as possible on the day after tday. Though, admittedly, I did wake up at 5am this morning (had to pee BAD) and couldn't fall back asleep. I almost got up and went to best buy

by 9am, the parking lots were FILLED!!!!!
the nike store had 20% off everything before 10am. crap, i was running late when i walked in and saw gazillion people waiting in line and saw at least 2o minutes wait.
i hope this is a great sign that the economy is going up. people are spending, stores are making $$$ and workers are paid more....

I actually work at the best buy in San Francisco and man was it crazy. 6:00am had people fighting over $40 128 MB mp3 players. We also had laptops going for under $500 out the door and cheap little e-machines for as cheap as $199. Had a 10 hour shift and it sucked.
