i like the "optional donation" part cause i doubt it's optional unless the part he's helping you put on is something like a shift ****.

Edit: Let me clarify my OPINION. I'm sure it is OPTIONAL if you're a good friend of his. But then again, nobody likes to dick friends who help out w/o any type of compensation.

I used the phrase "optional donation" because it directly applies to yesterday's events. For example, Dan spent the entire day (7-8 hours) almost non-stop working on my car, installing quite a few parts. Knowing it took his whole saturday, I felt that is was only just to pay for his services. He did not ask me for any money, rather my business ethics played a key role in my PERSONAL decision to pay him, which is no one's business by my own.

How did the install fest on your car go? Where you able to get everything installed on the car?

Everything went pretty well with Chris's car. Finished everything except for his gauges. His manifold isn't tapped for the egt gauge yet and he was missing his egt probe. Also we needed the oil gallery adapter to install his oil pressure gauge in the rear oil gallery. Hes coming over tommorow and we're gonna finish all that up.

 

Got some work done on Arrkash's car today. Installed STi v8 Takeoffs, Helix Rear Sway, and Perrin Pulley. These springs/struts are pretty stiff compared to stock but don't really drop the car at all. Here are some pics from the day.

I can honestly say that Davon did not charge me. Infact, he drank all of MY soda when doing the install.

Hahahah! Nope, no I didn't. But since I honestly meant to, and couldn't make it, I did give him some money so he could buy himself a nice dinner. That does fall into the "optional donation" classification as he didn't ask for it, and even said "don't worry about it" when I offered it to him. I didn't even give hime the money untill a couple days later when I realized I wouldn't be able to make it out to UCKK to buy him the dinner like I WANTED to.
