Davis Autocross Club... inquire within.
Hi... my name is Steven Ryan, I'm a student at UC Davis.
I've started an autocross club through the university and am trying to recruit members.
The club is open to all yolo/solano/sacramento area people, not just students.
I'm making the club primarily to introduce people to the exciting sport of SOLO II competition. We will run at SFR and Sacramento region SCCA events, so a SCCA membership will be required if you wish to race.
On top of participating in autocrosses, the club will serve as an outlet for the car enthusiasts in the area. We will have BBQ's, attend races and events at Thunderhill and Sears point, and possibly even build a 2005 challenge car for the Grassroots Motorsports budget challenge.

The stock classes are much less competitive, and once you identify your cars weak points, it'll be easier to make a decision on suspension components. Are you a student here?

and i know my car needs struts, im not talking about performance, well, not as much. haha
only autocross experience i have is racing around an empty parking lot in the business park.

Most everyone here knows about autocrossing, so no reason to preach to the choir.
Im still pissed off at Cal Expo and McClellen for killing off auto-xing in Sac
Its Reno for me from now on, that stockton fairgrounds is a ghetto gravel mess compaired to the Stead airfield... No thanks!
