Date for BAM X? September 12th? (Sunday)
I just wanted to make sure that September 12th, a Sunday, would work well for BAM X?
Are there any other major events going on that day? We could still do the event in late August, but I think Sept would be better due to the weather and such.
I have a lot planned, just haven't set the day in concrete yet and that needs to happen in the next couple of days.
The location for this year's event is going to be the same as last, at Stafford Lake in Novato. The reason that we chose this spot is due to it's large parking lot, BBQ pits, electricity, sinks with running water, and a very nice picnic area with plenty of shade for everyone. It's not super close to most people in the bay area, but it's so much fun to drive in the large caravans that are a huge part of this meet each year, so even if you dont like driving 45mins to an hour, you WILL like it when you're surrounded by 30+ subies in the caravan that you're in!
Let me know how this works for everyone and I hope there aren't any large events that might interfere with our event.
Sorry that I haven't been updating you guys as much as I'd like to, I haven't had much time to be online as of late and when I am I'm usually posting from my phone which makes updating a pain in the *** because typing takes so long (for me at least).
To the vendors that might be interested in sponsoring the event, don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you, I'll send you guys an email/PM/phone call pretty soon to figure out things. I've worked out a budget which will be pleasing to everyone.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the event!

I'd like to try to get my bugeye in the event, how will I go about that, and when will it be open to apply? Is it going to be a voting thing like the previous years?? Thanks

Looks like all of the major Auto-X series (SCCA, NASA, AAX) have a bye-week on the 12, so looking good there. No events listed on Yelp for that date either
