damnit my suby is brokes

My damn subaru decides to break down after my warranty is over and now i'm so screwed. The damn thing keeps cutting off when i accelerate but when i drive it slowly below 0 psi it's fine. When i start going over 0 psi the damn thing starts jolting and feels like its gonna stall. So i decide to take it in to Capitol Subaru for them to diagnose what is wrong with it. They first tell me my 02 sensor is messed up and they need to get a new one. Then after that they tell me that my aftermarket downpipe is leaking and i need to bring in my stock one. They then tell me they sealed the leak but still want my dp to make sure everything is fine. Now they switched it everything out and it's still the same. I keep telling them to look at the fuel line/fuel pump and the vacuum lines. But they keep going else where. Now i have to pay a crapload for them just to swap my damn DP out. They still don't know what is wrong with it and its been there since tuesday.

as of right now 200 for o2 sensor, 200 for putting on the stock dp, 200 to diagnose... The list will keep on going.

The only mod on my car is an aftermarket dp and an access port. I popped the stock map back on the car before i brought it in.

i cleaned the MAF sensor with CRC MAF sensor. Doesn't the MAF sensor cause the car to flash a check engine light? My car isn't throwing any check engine signs

I'm confused as to why you took it to a dealer?

Seriously dude, this is the bay area. Take the car to Adam and Noah at LIC motorsports in Novato or see Mike at GST Motorsports in Haywood.

Either of these shops will have you correctly diagnosed and fixed quicker than you can say "blueberry pie". They will also be significantly cheaper than the stealership. I know Capitol is pretty cool, but LIC or GST will look after you. They are both honest shops run by quality individuals.

Taking a modded Subaru to a dealer . Thanks, now I've heard it all.

Admitting your mistake is half the cure, now go get it back from the stealership and take it to the guys who know more about subarus than subaru

You can trust both Mike @ GST and the Levy boys (LIC) to do the job right.

I'm mad for you that you're already out at least $600 and the only mods you have are a DP and AP. I know what it's like to keep getting vague calls from a dealership telling you that your bill is getting larger and larger but they still haven't found the problem and they are blaming it on anything that is aftermarket.

DP should not be that hard to install and uninstall on your own. And I though the accessports give you error codes to check out so that you can pinpoint problems on the suby. Or so you can atleast find the general area of the problem.

I did install my own DP, it's very simple. But my car wasn't throwing any cells so the access port couldn't read anything

Bay area shops are definitely the spot to take them.

GST / AHQ / LIC / GBMotorsports

Or Paul if you're up in Sac. It doesn't get any better to have these guys do it right the first time.
