The judge won't always convict you if you're only 10 over the limit, that's almost a waste of time.

maybe not anymore, considering that public agencies are all bankrupt now...

 

i got pulled over this morning by an under cover silver crown vic.....the officer was cool and let me slide with a warning.....he did tell me that is speed week....meaning their cracking down!

 

Read the VC section on speed traps. Had he cited you (which he cant) you could have got out of it.

An unmarked car can't stop you for traffic violations, nor can an officer in plain clothes.

If they do they have to hold you until another officer arrives and that car has to cite you. Then all you have to do is tell the judge that officer did not withness the act, therefore its hearsay and you are free.....hence the warning.

 

Soggynuts, I could care less wether you were late for work, or speeding, or misplaced your insurance. But no seatbelt?!!! That's just plain dumb. In fact for that you get a very personalized monkey...

Top this guys, 42 in a 40 stupid campus police not even on campus pulled me over, but he is regiastered 'cop'. So i went to court judge laughed and said what are you doing, go home. And i smiled and left.
