Always get a police report!

 

from what i hear, police don't take reports anymore unless there is an injury. i could be wrong. at least the guy who hit you had insurance. and bristol west is legit.

i used to drive a sentra and i once got sideswiped by some ahole trying to cut me off. he had no insurance, but i didn't go after him because he literally hit a telephone pole after he sideswiped me and had to leave in a stretcher. i figured i was just goint to have to pay for it myself.

anyway, a few days later i went to a body shop to get an estimate. driving out of the shop, some guy hits me in pretty much the same spot. the cool thing was, he did have insurance and thought he did the whole damage. luckiest accident ever. lol!

 

i didn't get a report beucase i know the cop won't write one. damage wasn't enough

 

Cops will only write one if there is an injury involved.

 

that or if the damage is more than 500 bucks... i think it's 500...... could be a 1000.... don't remeber what the cop said to me last time

the damage wasnt bad just needed fill and paint, but the bodyshop got me a new bumper. it was like 800 bucks. but the thing that sucks is that i was a poor college student at the time and now a person STILL looking for a career job and this jackass insurance company tries to dick me. -_-

 

i JUST got the check today... time to slap them with a lawsuit.
