so i got a call from my friend at like 10am... "dude, can you drive me to the body shop in SF so i can pick up my car?" "yeah sure dude, no prob"

45 min later:
(outside of body shop)
"thanks man, wanna go eat? i'll buy since you drove me here" "sure why not, you lead... i hate SF, i don't know where i'm going"

3 min later:
(at the o'farrell and levenworth)
::CRASH:: "dude, i just got hit"

...i shoulda just stayed in bed.

 

so you got hit or your friend did?

 

i got hit, thus i shoulda stayed in bed.... i'm too nice.... i should just be a grouch and say.. **** off i'm sleeping

 

That sucks... maybe you can get your friend to pay for some of it... I mean he was the one who made you go out...

 

DUDE same **** happened to me in SF...i hate driving in that city!!! i went to pick up a friend at cal train and i ended up getting hit and it turns out he got off on the wrong exit and never made it to sf anyway so i drove there to get into an accident and then drive 45 mins back home...sux

 

Moral of the story is. For the sake of your car, don't help anyone.

 

no worries, i got the dude that hit me information... get this, dude said he lost his DL so he busted out his immigration card, got his alien number.... good thing he has insurance, got the policy number of that too.... i hope it's a legit company... Bristol West insurance group?

i got rear ended nothing too crazy. bent bumper... chipped paint, f'ed up license plate

your friend has nothing to do with your accident or luck. it was meant to happen and it did. thank god you're ok and that's all there is to it.
