So I messaged the vendor and he said that there is taxes and duties and that he would be willing to sell it for the group 3 pricing... Lets see what he says after I tell him that it doesnt make sense to waste an additional 40 dollars more for a "guarantee" when I know for a fact that when I order things from japanparts i never really get charged for those things..

Smaller circumference steering wheel. One is D-Shaped, and the other is O-shaped. Basically better than OEM quality.

You only get charged taxes and duties if it's over $5,000 or it's an item that is on an import control list of some sort. Ask me how I know. Any of my other smaller orders from Japan Parts have never had any taxes or duties assessed against them, including my DAMD wheel.

Yes. Smaller diameter, far better grips, better materials, and you have the flat bottom option. Makes getting in and out of deeper race seats easier.

Uuuuuuh okay thank you for the explanation Hard to tell from the pictures. Wish I had a car to put one of these on in that case.

it feels really weird the first week or two of driving, going from a normal wheel.

my sti came with it from the previous owner... it was a bit awkward in the beginning but i'm used to driving the D-shape steering wheel now. love it so far.

I want one, but have read the 04 STI uses a different Airbag than the 05-07 and the steering wheels won't fit it

Try asked the vendor he may be able to give you insight.
