Heya guys, I just need your opinion on this..
This last week i bought some eibach springs for my wagon from subydude, and this weekend my me and my dad went to install them, but when we opened up the box the springs appeared to be fairly used - ie - worn paint, fair amount of rust and impact damage along the lower end of each coil. I figure that some of this damage could have come from just the uncoiled spring stock sitting on the ground, but other damage seems to be from the springs already being compressed. The paint seems to be sorta worn spraypaint, and is silver with spots of rust coming through.
So, does this sound right to you guys? I've never bought springs before so i don't have a frame of reference. Obviously, subydude isn't trying to jack me, so PLEASE do not interpret this thread as a subydude jack - I've bought and will continue to buy most of my stuff from them- but if these are used, then the problem needs to be taken up with the guys who shipped it to them.
But, if this sounds out of the ordinary for new eibachs, let me know and i'll give subydude a call.
whaddya think?

I don't agree, I just asked for your opinions - i obviously have no experience with these particular parts, so i had hoped *maybe* you guys could give me an idea - i wasn't going to call subydude on a saturday with an uneducated question while they are trying to do business. I'm sorry if i've offended anyone, i really didn't mean to. This was NOT a subydude jack, and stick it up your *** if you think that was my intention, it was more or less me just using improper channels, so once again, i appologize. Subydudes, i'll give you a call.
