Daft Innovations, Lots of RB Goodness

So my buddy broke his RB20DET in his datsun, it was smoking like a ****. So we went down to Daft Innovations to get a new core put in. The orange datsun is SR20 powered, and the shop owner Rich is working on a blue RB25 280z. The best part was his toyota work truck, it has an RB20DET swap, talk about ultimate sleeper! We got on the freeway and he smashed the gas and that thing lifted the nose like a high powered chevy muscle car!!!!

Enjoy!

There are places...its no Honda or Chevy, but this is THE engine to have in the Nissan community. Plus an RB20 is much easier to maintain, parts are cheaper.

RB20DET - Cheaper than RB25DET and RB26DETT to maintain, parts are relatively easy to find, just cheaper on RB20.
SR20DE - Same as RB20DET in price, easiest to get parts.
SR20DET - More expensive, parts easy to get due to the large drift community and is the engine to swap into 240sx's

I bought it with the classic volks and adjustable struts. It is a lot of fun. Quick like, Civic Si quick not Turbo fast. I plan to do a drop in K&N, hear cold airs suck on these cars. I also am going to have my muffler shop buddy Scott at Minute Muffler weld me up a cat back with some shiny 3 to 4 inch chrome tips. Otherwise, a good daily till I get an Sti , which it will still be a daily.

Yup, Daft knows RBs and swaps in general. I was talking with Rich semi recently about an LS swap for my S13. And now I HAVE to stop by the shop, just to see that Toy!
