it was kinda bad how everyone boo'ed the pontiac. i think its great that they are using a domestic car for events like this. hopefully they get more next yr!
Great Event. It is all about Rodeo. Green Car! ^_^
He was my pick to win the event too. Though Takaguchi drifts looked much better, but something about Rodeo about keeping so close to the car made my hair stick out.
Didn't like it when ppl were booing the GTO Driver Millner(sp?)
He was really good. His drifts were very consistent. Though, americans are still not good as drifting as the japanese (stereotype =P). All of them had one kind of problem or another on the track.
Smell that burning rubber! ^_^ Im probably gonna get cancer now being in the front grandstand seats.

i felt bad also when the gto driver was being boo'd... D1 was brought to the states to expand the sport and that isn’t going to happen without the help of American corporate sponsorships like Pontiac... like it or not.

Both Rod's hillclimb modified Tacoma and Rhys' similarly modified Celica were sights to be seen at Pike's Peak, year after year.
I think its really lame that Rhys got booed for driving a domestic car in a drift competition. I wonder if the people booing know of all the work the Millen Family has done for Toyota/Lexus, Mitsubishi (and other Japanese manufacturers) racing/rallying in the US.
Oh well, glad to hear the rest of the competition was enjoyable.
