Guys,

This might go better in the Exterior forum, but since other people in this group buy might have the same question and Creative Kustoms would be best to answer, here it goes...

Should I wax my newly painted sideskirts before putting them back on? Should I wait a few weeks for the paint to cure first? Is there anything special I should do or keep in mind with waxing painted plastic parts?

waxing new paint jobs

You should always wait at least 3 months before you wax. If you don't wait the paint won't cure right.

Thanks

What does the WRX look like without the sideskirts? Must look kinda funny, huh?

Didn't look too bad, except for the six very noticeable mounting holes where the sideskirts would be. If it was Christmas time, I could've mounted some decorative lights in there. :-)

How much for some touch-up on a rear bumper - Some a**hole scraped the back side of my bumper when I went Karting.........Looks like the person was trying to make a tight turn without having to back-up, and just went for it Good thing I didn't see it happening, I would have chased him down and gave him some good ol' fashion a** spanking!
