Thunder,lightening and hail with border line tornado wind in Santa Clara. I was outside in our front yard with my 7yr old daughter and the wind knocked her on her butt...real talk. Wtf is goin on lol

 

so.... if I have hail damage.... I can have it redone and repainted.... ?

Yeah, lightning was pretty intense for a while there, over in North SJ it got pretty breezy & rained for ~10mins. We got caught out during an evening stroll & were getting wet. Didnt expect that for a while yet...

 

Was watching it on the news and you know when the weather person shows the map of the bay area? Kinda made me think that if we ever had a tsunami like Japan, would we be wiped out? Just made me think cause my lil girl asked "daddy why is San Jose so close to the water on the map..." so do you think if we had a wave identical to Japan would it reach us? (SouthBay)

 

If it was big enough to get past the Santa Cruz mtns, you're ****ed. Be more worried about a wave that had enough energy to come down the length of the bay and cause damage.



Also, perfectly clear and calm in San Mateo, has been all night.

 

Hella creepy lol...imagine your driving up 17 towards Santa Cruz and all of a sudden you see this huge wall of a wave of water coming towards you...damn

 

the lightning in livermore was pretty awesome. although i did spend an hour and a half cleaning my car after work for this pathetic storm to drizzle for about 2 mins and ruin all my work

 

Bah I wish it was a big storm.. This was nothing.. In Oregon we would get huge storms and when I lived in Utah lightning was a daily occurrence. We would be driving home and lightning would shoot down right in front of us and hit the ground now thats some freaky ****. Also we had all types of lightning daily all at once. Then heavy flooding rain for an hour then an hour after that you couldn't even tell it ever rained. Those are the storms I miss! It would dry up fast since we never saw a night go below 95-98 degrees and day was always 110 plus in the summer.

 

Just drove right through it earlier heading to San Jose. Thunder/Lighting Rain.

 

had a little wind and some rain here in Palo Alto but I would not call it stormy.

I miss the big storms at lake Tahoe, lightning hitting all around the lake! Hail ping pong ball sized hail. Lightning covering the whole basin. My mom ishing bricks. This was not a storm it was a tease, it is nice out now. Well at least where I am at.
