hate to say it but it is old hat...
hot new freshness is interactive 3d holographic displays...
And to be dead honest i have seen very similar ideas in various 3d based gui interfaces to operating systems.
But he is right on the ability to interface with large datasets... that will be critical in the next X amount of years.
But yeah that display is pretty cool. Wonder how they are handling scalability between sensor grids (i am assuming they are using grids of sensors).
