and that was just 1 hour in! saw that live and it woke me up. in all fairness it wasn't really #58's fault.

then couple hours later Rockenfeller gets taken out by another Ferrari. that crash was crazy too. lucky Rocekenfeller is ok.

Looked bad? Look at the cockpit before it goes on it's top and the dust surrounds it. That cockpit is not deformed at all! Modern safety FTW!

 

the worst an accident looks, the better it is for the driver as all the energy is being dissipated. of course, there's exceptions. i was more worried about the people behind the tire barrier. could have easily been 1955 all over again.

 

camera man nearly gets hit by a tire in the bottom of the screen at 15 seconds... pretty intense ****

 

thats a lot of flying car parts, hope no one got hurt.

 

the best part was the camera guy running away while a tire was chasing after him

 

Wow, that was a great 24 hour race...

Amazing crashes from the Audi camp, thank goodness the drivers are fine after those massive impacts!



In LMP1, Audi wins with what I believe was a 30-40 second gap in front of the Peugeots.

In LMP2, Nissan power wins the category, with Nissan and Honda-powered P2 vehicles behind them

I am amazed to see the Corvettes win both GT categories!

I wanted Porsche to win the GT categories though
