or, it could have something to do with a mild natural disaster across the pacific some weeks ago causing supply line disruptions at most auto manufacturers. idk, either or, i'm no expert.

I hate it when people don't say WHO tuned it. Makes it seems like an unknown car.

yeah, and it's not running, the suspension is fubard and it looks like a good amount of the body panels are trashed or need work.

He must have seen the same thing on the news about used cars being worth a lot right now...

I called him up before, it's some high school kid who owns it. two owner, no maintenance records what so ever. the story on how he lost his splitters and how he got the driver side fender dent is questionable. he also isnt really motivated to sell the car. if anything, it's been on the market for a least a month now..but hey, i havent met him in person so don't take my word

Interesting how he says "The car is stock, it was never modded in any way." Yet he has a picture where the clock has been replaced with gauges.

Well, this is obvious and all, but, that was a dealer option and he could have bought the car that way, brand new, from a dealer.

Speaking of Craigslist Imprezas, anyone want a "swap kit?" My projects are going nowhere and these cars have got to go.

1998 2.5RS with lots of STi goodies, STi V4 seats/wheel, etc + a stripped '95 L coupe with a WRX drivetrain installed and a LIC swap harness for the '98. Such an awesome set up for someone who wants it. After not being able to get time to work on it, and then moving it to a shop nothing is happening and I am tired of owning broken Imprezas.

I am setting a date this month where a friend said he would help me tear down the '95. If that happens, I will be parting everything out and keeping the '98 but I would rather just get rid of it all. At this point, even if the car were done I think I am over it. Haven't talked to the shop for a few weeks though. If they have worked on it, and we are back on track then that's cool but I seriously doubt it. Basically if someone wanted to buy the black car for what I paid for it (since it hasn't moved since I bought it) I would throw in the swap if the person had the means to haul it away. This is a crazy deal, but only for the right person I guess.

If anyone is at all interested, let me know.
