Craigslist -- D'oh! Roadbike thief!
actually thats totally true... different manufacturers really do vary their geometry specs. and you should go with the one that feels the most comfortable and suits your needs. also people have different sizes for arm/leg length, preference for laid back position vs forward aggressive (steep seat tube angle and head tube angle). ive tried alot of mt bikes and i also like the specialized. but now ive fallen in love with santa cruz because of their short top tube and steep seat tube angle, im short so i need all the reach i can get lol.
thats why we should all bite the bullet and just order a custom SE7EN hehe. omg those are freakin expensive. custom bikes take on a whole new meaning. it fits YOU! and how you want it to fit you also.

I want an aluminum frame with carbon fork and maybe carbon seatpost. Nothing too fancy. The cheap stuff is good for me now, when I get into it more I can upgrade.
My price range is around $500 for a used bike. I'm looking for something that costs around $900 new. Specialized Allez and Trek 1200 are the types of bikes I'm looking at.

Arrrgh! I can understand wanting to make $100, but I was planning on actually using the bike...
I'm a bit angry right now and want to blow off some steam. If anyone is selling their road bike (54-58) let me know.

No reason to commit auction fraud like some are suggesting.

Um, the second post to the thread he admits it wasn't really theft, he was just PO'd that the guy that bought it just turned around and put it on e-bay.
And yeah it may be capitalism at its finest, but you got to admit you'd probably be pretty upset if something you had your heart set on got snatched away from you only to show up on e-bay for $100 more... at least I know I would.
