so i heard i can have it welded. Will it hold. I'm very hard on my wheels and drive very fast over uneven roads. Should i get this done, or should i start saving.
I just don't want to roll out to Hammy on my yellow painted stock wheels.

ouch rich, sorry to hear that
how big is the crack. i bent a rim and couldn't get it repaired, it was too damaged, it doesn't matter now because i have stop tech's, but i had to buy a whole new set of wheels because they were out of the type i had
for safety reason's i'd just buy a new rim

My problem is a have Tarmac 1's which is almost imposible to find. The crack is almost an inch long along the inside of the wheel. I'm losing air out of it, so i took it in to have the leak fixed and they said and showed me the crack.
Just got off the phone with Adam over at LIC and he said ask the guys over at "Wheel Guy" in Novato if it can be fixed.
i just cant afford new wheel, although i'd love to have some.

PS: He does go rough on 'em, seriously rough. I'm actually shocked my Boosts made it through that drive without getting bent; some of those ruts were ginormous.

I have personally used fixrim.com which referrs you to the local American Wheel and Tire in Union City. They have a flat rate of $130 and can fix just about anything. I sent them 2 different rims and they came back perfect looking and perfectly true.

It's probably gone, but someone's giving away an old stock rim: https://www.i-club.com/forums/subaru-oem-parts-sale-57/one-free-wrx-wheel-just-pay-shipping-138201/
