I'm curious what your reasoning is for placing the tach off to the side and lower. Wouldn't you want it higher and more center to your viewing angle so that you don't have to look away from the road/track as long to check it?

 

only newbs use their vision. real pros can hear and feel the engine. duh.

 

its lower to the right so it doesnt distract me. if i need to look at it, the needle is pointing at the "shift point" right in my field of view.

i sit INSANELY low. I dont use rail on my seat and its bolted in the lowest position. IM not sitting high up like a stock seat.

Drivers in all major series use some sort of shift light or tach read out.
F1, WRC, ALMS...

 

Gut that pos and paint the interior! Even a nice Rustoleum Professional rattle can job would make it oh so nice inside. :-) I like what you did with the gauge cluster and radio bezel area. Look's clean.
