I use the Costco on Sunrise exclusively. They do great work, have a touchless mounter, and are always professional. When taking one car in, I was told, "It won't go on the lift, so we'll just do each corner individually." That's taking care of the customer, instead of just telling them "nope, can't do it."
The "recommended tire size" thing shouldn't be an issue, just tell them you know you're putting on a different tire than what is recommended in their system, and you are cognizant of and accept any errors that may cause with speedo readings, etc. They use that system to make sure they're not putting on anything they can be sued for later.

All that for $40 for an entire car. I've gotten quotes of $40 per tire from other places. If you're really neurotic about valve stems, bring in your own, they'll put anything on you want if you ask nicely. I've had about 30 sets of tires mounted by Costco on 16/17/18 inch wheels, with absolutely zero problems....

I won't go anywhere else, it's the bargain of the century, and I know the guys are taking care of my car/wheels, as well as my friends.

Just be sure and tell them that if the wheels are intended for an STi that they shouldn't put the wheel weights right behind the spokes. They tend to "interfere" with the Brembo calipers.

Is it standard practice for them to drive your car around after putting on new tires? I went to the Santa Clara one. The car had 8 mi after I fueled it up, and 13 mi when I took the car back. That was with my beater automatic Integra LS though and I am not too concerned. I would be if they had my WRX...

And it was crowded! They open at 9:30am on Sat and I arrived at about 9:55am. Lined up behind 10 or so people for 20 min or so and by the time they wrote me up, it would be a 4.5 hour wait before the car was done. Luckily I have another ride to go do other stuff. Is it usually this crowded in other locations? I would not be thrilled to bring it back for rotations and balance if I have to wait 4 hours for them to finish...
