Cost to ship a wheel?
I'm betting my wheels won't sell locally, so I'll probably end up putting them on eBay. From doing some USPS.gov calculations, it seems maybe $25-$30 for shipping chargers, and maybe $5 for packaging materials. So about $35 per wheel for shipping.
Have you ever shipped a wheel w/ tire? Does that sound about right?

Depends how far you are shipping. Regardless, use FedEx. Better company, cheaper, and faster. Also, if your package is early, they wont hang onto it until the date that was paid for.
I shipped 2 sets of wheels recently. 4 wheels, 2 boxes of 2 wheels, at 25 pounds a wheel (stock 06 wrx wheels), for $50 TOTAL.
One shipment went to Washington, the other to the Bay area (2 sets of wheels) and they were about the same price. If you are sending back east, it will be more.

ask if SubyDude has any extra boxes they can give you Seeing as the boxes wheels come in are the ones they are shipped in, this will save you on the packaging cost. I'd suggest then putting those wheels into a bigger boxes (multiple boxes=more things to get lost)

If these are nice wheels, definitely pad the edges of the wheels since I had a set of wheels that I bought from someone else damaged in transit by the USPS. Use something cheap like folded newspaper and it should do the trick.
