Cost to paint fender

I was wondering if any of you have had just a fender painted? I'm contemplating buying a silver fender, having it painted WRB, to replace the fender that's on the car currently. My dented fender came from the previous owner. It has a rather long crease just on top of the wheel well. Would it be cheaper to fix the current fender or buy a new one and have it painted? And if anyone can recommend a place, please post it up.

Thanks
-Jeff

a paint job for a fender from creative kustoms will cost you roughly 250.

DAMN! That is more than I paid for my front bumper, splitters, and fog covers to be painted. I was quoted $100 for a fender off the car and $50 more for it on. I just had PDR done @ the Hammy meet and didn't end up needing it. $250 is CRAZY.

cheaper if fender is off the car?

But what about actually fixing the dent/crease? Wouldn't be cheaper to just have a body shop fix it and buff it, then to have to paint an entire fender?

I guess if I do choose to buy another fender, it would definitely be cheaper to just give them the fender and have it painted correct? Any experiences with shops on this side of the Caldecott tunnel (east side)? I don't really want to drive too far.

Thanks

Is the paint damaged? If not PDR may be able to take care of it for you...

i wouldn't go to dream autoworks, my friend brought his car there and had to repaint it a couple times by them because the paint cracked.

No the paint is not damaged, or cracked. Just a long crease ~10in, along the top of the fender bulge. What or rather, where is PDR?
