poor guy....at least his post is honest.

At first glance, this reminded me of those people who were selling boxes on ebay for ridiculous amounts

1. a 7-rib that i've disassembled, and was going to rebuild. basically, its a long block with the only accessory being the water pump. there is no alternator for it.
2. a 3-rib that is complete (from a corolla fx 16) - its condition APPEARS to be ok, but i've never touched it.
3. a 3-rib that is taking up a few small boxes and i used it for parts to get my current 3-rib working again (back in the summer).

4. 3-rib that i've nearly complete rebuilt. the engine that I've rebuilt for myself includes a new OEM Toyota head gasket, the block and head I've cleaned up a bit to get a good, flat mating surface, new OEM Toyota head bolts torqued to Toyota spec, a new water pump, new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, new timing belt and timing belt tensioner, galley cover seal, a new water temperature sensor, and I also did a minor cleanup on the cylinder walls with some WD40 and soft cloth. its nothing special, but should be absolutely rock solid for years. I've also cleaned all the studs with a thread chaser, and I've also cleaned all of the bolt holes with a thread chaser as well - every nut and bolt on the intake side slides in smooth like silk. both of the coolant hard lines that run under the intake manifold have also been cleaned with a wire brush (to remove any surface rust), and then sprayed with 2 or 3 layers of rust-o-leum primer.

----

oh yeah, also new cam seals on the rebuilt engine too.

i have a 1982 starlet with the original 4k-c engine, and the complete swap for a ae86 for sale.

i wont split up the sale.

while i love the starlet, i have my RS. and, between my wife and myself, we have 7 cars. just too many. so, i have to let it go.

so, if you want a drifting car, the starlet tends to kick the snot out of the corolla. mainly because it weights 400lbs less than the corolla bone stock.

yeah...no joke. If anyone deserves a donation for repairs it's Jeff and his 7 motors.

What a punk. He give me donations for my crappy car while a million people are looking at possibly loosing their homes.

Im looking for a 86 4AGE swap for my spitfire, which I got down around 1500lbs right now, so I think Im way under either on weight, any lighter and I'd probably need a helmet to drive it

let me know what your looking for on that swap
