Cops Everywhere
So I go to SFSU in the mornings for a class I'm taking there. Today I saw more cops than I think I've ever seen in one commute:
-First I saw a cop in a squad car coming off the San Jose st. exit of 280.
-Another one on Brotherhood.
-One at State Dr. on campus (that's there most mornings though)
-Driving up to the Tully's in Sloat for my morning fix, I saw a cop in a Suburban on Ocean at the intersection of Ocean and Middlefield
-I turned off of Ocean onto Riverton to avoid that cop, and was greeted with another cop who had pulled over an accord on that block.
-One block up, I turn right on Sloat, and see another cop has pulled someone over about a block to my right.
-On the way out of getting coffee, same cop on Sloat pulled someone else over.
-On the drive home, spotted 2 bike cops hidden down by the church on Brotherhood.
-About 100 yards from that, 2 bike cops had pulled someone in a Benz over in the opposite direction.
-about 1/2 mile further up Brotherhood, another 2 bike cops rolling together in the opposite direction.
-I think I saw one more bike cop before getting on 280, then one more on 280.
That's 14 ****ing cops, all in west lake/SFSU area. Look out.

Well, if your car is stock then yeah, nothing to worry about BUT if you have a modded subie, chances are that the part is illegal for street use and you're afraid of a cop pulling you over and giving you a ticket for exhaust, tint, or stupid stuff like that, and that's why almost all of us get nervous when we see cops on the road.

Sorry, I just had to.
Exactly. I haven't done any wrong, so I won't worry. Well, except for the fact that I sometimes go above the speed limit.

Cops never look at my legacy when my clutch is pushed in! Plus the sheriffs recognize me as a local , got pulled over, look at my license let me go a couple times actually and the air definitely smelled catless. On the other hand.... way too many CHP in the HMB area lately..... Saw two on the way home this morning both white, and a bronco sheriff's patrol vehicle??
Having a six sense and knowing when cops are around always comes in handy :P

I never go 5mph over the speedlimit and haven't gotten pulled over once (knock on wood)
There was one time I was cruising it at 70 to Davis on 80 and a CHP rolls up next to me out of no where and the passenger officer waved at me, I gave a wave back and they sped off. I was so confused...

But, as we probably all agree, all of those CARB laws are bull****.
The fact is I do not trust cops. Any time I encounter them I get the feeling that they are actively seeking something to harass me about.

I think we should just be happy here in the Bay Area, because here in Arizona near my school, there are undercover cops in lifted trucks or even the most unsuspected cars. There are speed camera vans that they can put or hide anywhere. Not to mention speed cameras all over the freeways and streets also red light cameras at all the major intersections.
