Cool Racing Video from NASA Nationals 2008

Here's a pretty cool video from the NASA Nationals a few weeks ago. Ernesto is a friend of mine and ended up coming in second in AIX (American Iron Extreme.) Brian, the cameraman, who came along as a crew member, brought his camera along and made this video. This is some of my favorite type of racing and I remember his mustang when it used to be a street car many years ago. It's come a long, long way.

Hope you enjoy.

BTW, the car that blew up? Andy Sutak, has a new motor ready to go and will be back at the next event. Presumably a rod bolt let go and caused the lightening of the block and the evacuation of the crank. A Chevy LS2 in a Ford Mustang make for interesting conversations over on the American Iron board.
