Cool engine pic

This puts things into a little perspective

the "small piston/rod is from a 283 Chevy V8, a ancient reletive of the 350
The other is from a Diesel Electric Train engine with a 24x36" Bore/stroke
350,000 ft/lbs of torque !

damn...ive held an intake valve out of a train engine before. that **** is helluv huge and heavy!!

haha yeah, it was our "bathroom pass" for auto. The valve is bigger than any car piston too I think.

I use the exjaust valve for one of those Diesel Electic Train motors as my door stop. Thing is about 5" in diameter, 2' long, and wieghs 10-15 lbs! It's sitting next to my size 12 shoe in the pic.
