why did Isabel Kill herself (the sister who was in the hospital)? I don't think they ever covered that in the movie. What's the reasoning behind it. Discuss

 

To get away from the Demons that were haunting her.... (?)

 

i think it had something to do with the fact that the son of satan needed a body (conduit) who is able to link the demons' plane to ours so he could be reborn in Earth. The sister killed herself because she knew that "he" was coming.

i think you might also be able to say that....
if she didnt kill herself her sister would never have never admitted to having the gift, and the constantine dude would never have realized what was really going on.
a sacrifice for the greater good, perhapse?

i think they said something about needing a psychic too and then constantine either says or alludes to the fact that the connection that twins have is similar to that of a psychic. there was something special about angela, otherwise he could have used consantine or any of the others who can see demons.

not to mention the fact that if she didnt kill herself, angela would never have gone to the priest, she never would have figured out constantine and pretty much the movie wouldnt exist.

or maybe it was her first time back in the matrix after taking the red pill and morpheus was pushing her to do it to see if she was "the one"?

 

If it happened for that reason, why didn't she go to heaven for her sacrifice like how John sacrificed and was about to go to heaven?

 

Suicide == no heaven
Constantine's sacrifice was not him killing himself but him choosing hell in exchange for the sister going to heaven.

The sister was the original pathway for the devil's son, but she didn't want to be so she kills herself to avoid it. Unfortunately that puts her in hell so she can be used to find her sister, another psychic, since they are twins and the twin bond crosses the life-death barrier. So in a way the sister has fallen into a trap that only allows the plan to continue on. Just like all devilish plans...
