Complete Turbo Upgrade Swap, Need Assistance! (SF, CA)

I'm planning on doing my turbo swap this anytime from this Friday March 21 - April 3rd. If you are free within that time, I would greatly appreciate it. I am planning on swapping STi TMIC, Injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, and VF48 turbo. I was wondering if anyone has any expertise with swapping or installing any of these cause I need help. I'm most concerned about correctly priming the turbo. If anyone is down for a install fest, let me know. SPRING BREAK at SFSU after this week. Then i'm planning on dyno tuning. Thanks!

If you still have your stock hard inlet installed, its gonna be a ***** to pull off that intercooler. I suggest replacing that when you do all the work. Im kinda upset I didnt. It'll make your life a lot easier in the future.

I don't have a turbo inlet =( what size should the inlet be for a VF48? and a drop in K&N should still be fine instead of a short ram right?

2.4" for a VF turbo, and yes - a drop-in K&N is preferable. You don't want a hot air intake, unless you just came over from the honda camp, in which case you might want it...just don't.

As far as your swap is concerned, I believe your biggest PITA will be the injectors. Turbo + priming is easy. You install, pull the ignition fuse, and crank for a while to get oil in it.

Do you have a place to work on the car?
I might be able to lend my services. We could get it done in a couple hours if everything goes smoothly.

Ya I can ask my cousin if I can use their garage since it's going to be raining this week He's located in Pacifica/Daly City. I have tools but of course i'm kind of limited. I don't have any jacks or stands but I can possibly get them from a neighbor who usually lends me some. Dinner will be on me!

I would ditch the K&N airfilter for a panel filter thats not oiled. It will save you the headache later in life.

+1 on the ditch the K&N, the oil coated my MAF and caused all kinds of headache when I first got my STI
