how bad is the traffic to walnut creek from san francisco around 430-5? what time does traffic start and end? thanks in advance.

 

depends what time u leave. i work in walnut creek. im in oakland and leave here at 6:45-6:50 and get there by 7. im also driving about 90-mph the only traffic u really hit is going through that ****ing tunnel. around 8-9am is pretty bad at the tunnel coming back its starts around 3:30 but its not that bad 10 mins at most hopefully thats helps

traffic gets really bad around 6pm in the walnut creek area. you should be ok if you leave your house by 4-430 to be safe.

 

its ****ty u will get stuck in traffic for a long time pretty much the whole way i think. tunnel traffic is the worst then about 35mph traffic after the tunnel to WC.

 

what time does traffic die down? its either i leave sf at 445 or 7ish

 

Is BART an option for you? i go WC to SF everyday, and i NEVER see anyone on the trains going the other way.

 

hey man, you gotta hear from someone going your direction. As far as i can tell it is one of the worst.....maybe 4-430 is like the last time but that gets so backed up and horrible. Watch sigalert and that shows u as well.

 

the only traffic you will hit is at the tunnel. Don't be little of it. At that time there are two tunnels open in that direction, but I always see a long *** line for people going east bound. Bart is probably faster.
