Question Coil over spring compressor?

Does anyone have a spring compressor that will work on coilovers? I went looking to buy something that would work but the hooks were all to big and they would hit the strut. Does anyone have one I can borrow or tell me who sells something that will work? I would prefer to buy one so I would have it in the future, but I also want to get on with this project. Thanks

I hear autozone will lend you one for 50$, but you get your 50 bucks back when you return it to them

I stopped by there but the hooks were to large to fit. But thank for the suggestion.

just out of curiosity why would you need a compressor? Most coilover kits if you lower it to fully lowered it's not even compressed...

I bought a "temporary use" spring compressor that used very samll hooks. It will only work a few times though and then strip itself out - I think I bought it at Kragens or maybe ACE for like $15 or something.

Failing that, take it to MPJ and pay them to do it.

If I lowered the rear spring perches all the way down the coil was loose. But the fronts are still under a load with the perches all the way down.
