Question Cobb TBE at Laguna Seca?

Just wondering if anyone has run a Cobb TBE at Laguna Seca? I don't know if it will pass the noise limit.

Cobb the single tip? Probably not, but just let off at the sound station.

we used to bolt on a 90 degree turn out and point it away from whatever corner the guy with the Db meter was sitting on. Worked every time

lol..yeah I dont think any car really meets the 92db limit. Some stock cars are louder than that

Yes it is a single tip. Any ideas where I can get a 90 degree turn out. Is that something most auto stores would have. I hate the thought of lifting. That would hurt the lap time. And we are all about the lap time. Thanks for the tips.

you just need a 90 degree elbow, and something to secure it to the tip

Even with a turn down you might still have to lift a little. 92 dB days are really, really quiet. A stock porsche cayman S does not pass sound there. Clearly, a stock C6 Z06 does not either. So if your car is equally noisy or louder than either of those two, maybe you should consider putting your stock exhaust back on--at least bring it with you. It's not worth it to pay the fee, show up, and have to pack up and drive home just because your exhaust is too loud... They are serious about sound at LS. 3 strikes and you're done.

The sound station is located up coming up the hill from 5 to 6, on the right side, before the bridge.

go to pep boys/kragen and get one of these turn downs and an exhaust clamp and cut a line down a few inches on both sides like where I drew the red line, then clamp it to your muffler with an exhaust clamp
