I dont post much but I'm bout to buy cobbs front and rear sways.Should I?How easy is the install?Should I buy dirrectly from cobb?New end links?Any feedback would be much appreciated.

 

Rear swaybar and endlinks are easy, front endlinks are easy too...never done the front sway bar.

As far as brands and prices...shop around the vendors and used classifieds and find something that fits your budget. As long as you install them correctly, they should perform the same, regardless of brand.

 

Do I need a floor jack?Jack stands?Ramps?I have heard of people installing with the car on the ground.I'm so tired of poopy body roll!

 

You need to do it "under load" ramps would be ideal.

I managed to do mine at night under the car in a friends driveway with a ghetto light. Doable but not fun

 

yup, it the suspension isnt loaded, its a real ***** to get the endlinks back on

 

the cobb sway bars are tubular and are thicker then usual.

I installed my front and rear, the front requires removal of the front sub-frame(PITA).

The bars are well worth it though, they get rid of a butt load of body roll. Get some rear end links at least though cause the stockers will bend a lot or just plain snap.

 

Do I need new endlinks?I'm low on $$$.I dont track my car at all.I have heard conflicting opinions.I have a 02 wrx running AP stage 2.In case anyone cares.

 

you don't need them per say. I have actually not yet installed my rear end links and have had the bars for 3 months. I drive in the hills, over 17, been to 2 auto-cross events and the stock endlinks are still working, but I can feel a lot of flex in them now.

 

Where can I get some affordable yet decent rear links?What brand?

 

I got the whitelines, they were 100bucks

 

i suggest cusco sways and helix pillow ball endlinks. best bang for the buck.

I suggest the cusco bar as well. Its cheaper and works the same. I have the cusco bar with whiteline endlinks. Id go with the whitelines or the helix units. You can drop my MPJ or gruppe-s tommorrow and pick them up for that instant gratification, instead of waiting for them in the mail

 

cusco or whiteline is the way to go. if you know what you're doing and have the right tools, it takes around 15 minutes for the front, and 10 for the rear

 

Maybe if you have done it several times. And if you swap the rear mounts, that turns it in to about an hour cause of the stupid charcoal box.
