I dont want to be a dick and rant about how stupid it was to pass someone on the left in a two lane road with double yellows at high speeds. Or how the driver and the passenger had to pay for the mistake. Realy i dont want to be that much of a dick about it. i swear.

Then mark my words

If I go out like a punk or a dumbass make sure that everyone knows it. And no pity bull**** for me.

You make choices those choices are based off of your own analysis of the risks involved. If i wasnt keen enought to figure out that hey this is stupid. Then so be it. If it is a random act of god or something that could not have been foreseen then you can pity my ***.

it is a shame that he had to pay with his life, what is even more tradegic is that his buddy had to as well. I dont understand **** like that. I can understand putting your self in risk but not another person as well.

No matter how much $ you throw at your suspension and tires, drive safely. Even proffesional race driver will hesitate to attempt a pass like that. Sometimes we forget that our sweet rides can be come coffins on wheels.

words to live by.

keep it on the tracks folks In the bay area with track days we have available (practiclally once a month ) we have no excuse.

my condolences to the families...

I wish ppl would spend less money on mods and more on track days, driving schools, racing schools, rally schools, etc.

A sad situation in any light., sorry to hear of the loss.

If it's your first time driving or you're a Subaru rally team member, unexpected tragedies can happen at any time.

We've all heard the don't do this don't do that...that was stupid speech. We've also all done something really stupid. So please for the sake of these kids and their families can you keep that out of this thread and maybe just say good things about these two. Maybe if you knew him tell some stories from the past.

Something that if their families and friends read this they will not have anything but fond reflections to ponder.

And from me I say Godspeed. I can only hope the families are recovering.
