The Club, does it really work?

A car got stolen on my street the other day and thought about getting The Club for my car.
Does anyone know if it really works?
Is there a certain brand I should get? I believe there's a few brands floating around.

NOTHING really works. If they want your car, they will get it. No matter what, that's how they operate.
The Club will just slow them down. It's also for peace of mind.

the autolock is better than the club and like what 2cam16 said if they really want your car they will get it.

Although I have no experience with the club, I think an engine disable switch of some sort would be more reliable. Just my 2 cents.

heard you can just cut the steering wheel and free the club... autolock might be a better choice but again there are ways around this...

Like its been said.. if they want your car theyll take it. Nothing stops a flatbed. fuel cutoff or killswitch would be your best bet.

Also, just dont leave **** (stuff) in plain sight in your car that just gives them another reason to be curious and **** (mess) your **** (stuff) up.

get an aftermarket steering wheel thats a quick disconnect
but yea...clubs are useless...you can cut the steering wheel and slip it off, hit the lock and break it, etc. It's just a useless hunk of junk. If a theif wants to steal your car theyll get it. If they REALLY REALLY want it theyll use a flat bed

That would work, unless ofcourse the thief carries a quick disconnect steering wheel for those rare occasions.

Haha that would suck, but yea seems like they can really just do anything to nap your car, even if its just sticking it on a flat bed :P

Nothing is thief proof. Like what everyone else had said, it will slow them down and will discourage the amature thieves. An alarm is good, but if they are really good they can disable it in 60s or less.

And if they really want your car that bad.. then they go steal a tow truck and then tow ur car away.

the steering wheel is meant to be weak because if you crash and fly into it you wont want it to crush your chest. so it breaks. you and cut through it very easily.
