take your time and do it right the first time. you don't want condensation getting in there cause you rushed sealing them back up. i speak from experience .

haha. the last guy i helped we found a super crazy way to help reduce condensation.

put a couple grains of rice in the headlight for about a week or 2. he drove aroudn no worry

rice naturally absorbs moisture and it worked prefectly

he has no condensation and i got rid of mine. i was shocked.

I was just going to say that the best way to get rid of condensation is to use a very small amount of silica gel, yes, the same stuff that comes with beef jerky, and other foods that are supposed to stay dry. It usually comes in a small packet that says "Do not eat". Cut it open and put a few grains in and it will be dry overnight. I've never heard of using rice, but I know silica gel would work faster and better since that is its primary purpose.

We use it instead of cat litter and you'd be AMAZED at what the cat's turds look like the morning after she craps... They turn into these really small, hard, dry, and withered things that don't smell or even look like turds anymore because of how much moisture the silica gel took out of the crap. I also use it in my gun safe and in my ammo cans to keep everything dry... Most people use de-humidifiers, but the silica gel is much better, cheaper, and wont stop working. My guns are always nice and dry thanks to it.

So in short, use a tiny bit of silica gel if you get condensation, that way you don't have to remove the light to wipe off the water... When I say a tiny bit, I mean a TINY bit... like a few tiny grains... Each grain is a tiny bit bigger then a grain of sand.

So then you just have a few grains of rice rolling around in your head light? Im sure on your car its not noticeable with the white, but it seems like any other color youd be able to see them.

Thats why they put rice in salt shakers.
