Inquiring about pricing on clear bra install.
Anybody know of another good shop out here in the East bay?
Krinkov is in downtown San Francisco (PM'd, not sure what his roaming radius is - left VM).
Vince of Omega Works did a perfect job on my Honda Fit 2 years ago and would love to take it to him but just saw his work / install / schedule calendar earlier today and he's booked everyday for two months (live a block away from his shop). He needs to find an apprentice that has the same work ethic / attention to detail as him (still a one-man army).

Just curious but about how much is a typical front end clear bar install?
Ive looked around a bit and it seems as if the prices are much different from place to place.
Obviously you get what you pay for but I guess im asking how much should be paid for a good quality install?

There's a shop next door "Kar Tunz" @ Pleasanton - don't know how well they install Clear Bra's but will ask for a quote (but I see exotics go in and out of there all the time). I'm leaning towards people with community feedback (Jeremy or Vince) but they are usually pretty "booked"...

He did my buddy's car and i know hes installed for hundreds of exotics. His does one hell of a job and is cheaper than most shops since he's mobile.
He's my coworker's buddy..i know he does good work but he'd rather be golfing than working..so catch him when you can

With OmegaWorks - was quoted between 950$ and 1050$ today for an STI. I paid him I believe around 800$ for my Honda Fit (full hood, 1/3 fenders / lights / side mirrors) two years ago. Hoping to get a call / quote from Jeremy.

I've had Jeremy do 2 for me and more than likely he'll be doing 2 more for me shortly. My WRX will probably get a new one when I put it down for a motor swap (if I don't do a full vinyl on it). And the wife's forester.
You would not be sorry you took your car to him. I love Vince and he does killer work but he's slow and expensive.

our paint blows (at least the newer models) and this is a must! it's not the cheapest option out there but a clear bra is something you want to do one and do right. if this shop is good enough for mclarens, enzos, and mbz slrs, then it's good enough for my suby.
talk to goshan - tell 'em sony sent ya!

The difference between the Fit and STi full hood wrap is about 12sqft of extra film.(film prices has gone up twice since) The hood liners, hood scoop, washer jets, fog light covers, and side bumper vents are all carefully removed in order to tuck the films away to have that seamless install as possible. The side mirrors are fully wrapped not the small precut ones. A lot more labor and materials compare to the Fit wouldnt you say? People seem to like my attention to details and slow pace work, maybe thats why im 2 months booked. Sometime certain things in life are not meant to be rushed. I'm not trying to win any races here. Just trying to push out good old quality work.
