Cleaning glass?
Okay, I'm feeling pretty stupid. I've tried 3 different glass cleaners and all of them end up leaving streaks. I'm about to resort to the old faithful: windex and newspaper.
How do I get my windows spotless and streak free?

stoner is great I hear.
I just use Eagle auto glass cleaner for the inside....tint safe and works great but you have to get on it quick or it will smudge.
on the outside I use the same....or I use a special mix I came up with while working at a full service gas station.....
warm water....glass cleaner...the kind you have to water down....a splash of ammonia and a splash of apple vinigar....mix in bottle.....waaaalaaah.......do not attempt to use on hot windows....will streak bad...otherwise it takes the dirt/bugs off and leaves a very clean window. Warm is the secret trick.

Huck i just use alittle soup and water wipe clear with "newpaper" and then i go over it again with a damp rag made from 50% polyester and 50% Nylon by a company called "Mystic Maid" Holly Crap. do these things work GREAT!!!!. Just wipe back and forth in a cool shaded area (leaving wet) and it dries itself without streaking.

Cleaning glass and mirrors. There are probably other FAQs out there...
What seems to work best for me is simply just washing the car and using a chamois to wipe the windows dry.
Don't use any ammonia-based cleaner (Windex, etc.) on window film.
To remove hard water deposits from sprinklers, some hardware stores carry a glass-cleaning powder which is applied with a damp towel or paper towel. It takes some elbow grease but can remove some really stubborn spots. It is a very fine abrasive.
