cl find, will it fit and or worth it?

so ive been thinking about getting coils for my wagon for some time now and i saw these coils on cl, i have a 05 wrx wagon and was wondering would these fit? the coils are damaged and i was thinking what could possibly cause this sort of damage? is it even worth it to buy? i can repair the mount myself easily at school (im finishing all my certifications for all different types of welding)
well here are the coils please let me know what you think
thanks
- Lou
WRX Tein Suspension

also my reason for coils is to just got a little bit lower then the sti pinks i have already, i wont track this car, its sole purpose is to daily drive.

Yeah your better off going in a different direction. RCE yellows are a tad bit lower than the pinks.

If your dead set on coilovers, you can always find a used set of BC coils on Nasioc for around $700.

Don't bother with stuff that is already damaged. You'd be lucky if the visible damage was the only thing wrong with the set.

Also, for street cars coil-overs get to be pretty ridiculous.

wait for something better than BC's if you're gonna spend 700, or go koni yellows at that price.

im pretty set on coils for daily... ive done it before on lots of cars i have daily and track drove it doesnt bug me at all to tell you the truth.
like i said before ill just wait for some more cash to come through unless someone can recommend a spring strut set up that is currently lower then my sti pinks ( i would like pretty much 0 to very minimal wheel gap)

Almost any set would be lower. RCE yellows are great, tanabe, tein h techs, if you want to be dumped you can find tein s techs for CHEAP. Like 50 bucks, and you will have pretty much no wheel gap

Here is my take. That 3rd one the top hat is missing a stud. The 4th has the hub mount broken.
Now you can send these down to Tein to have them rebuilt and still come up cheaper then they were brand new. That lower depending on the age might be covered in recall Tein had on their lowers a while back.

Looks like some one might have caught a curb and damaged them or got hit in the front wheel. So I'd think that the dampener rod might be bent as well. But you never know until you send them out to get rebuilt. Its about $125 a side, plus major parts. Which are not to bad in cost. When you get them back they will be like brand new.

I'd jump on them myself if I saw them before you did. If you put a new stud in the camber plates, Those alone are worth $300

Koni's with swifts will give a good drop and really good performance. Come out tomorrow and ask the people who have this set up, they swear to it.
