Roseville police are teaming with Citrus Heights officers to crack down on street racing. Even weekday meets will be scrutinized by local law enforcement.

They don't mess around over there. About 4 years ago a friend and I were driving home from work (we both had Acura Integras) and someone called the police to say we were racing. Two cops ambushed us at Kirby/Sunrise (I think..can't remember..it's where that McDonalds is on Sunrise and an AM/PM on the other corner) and stopped us. They tried the whole "YOUR FRIEND SAID YOU WERE RACING, WHY ARE YOU LYING?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?" ****, which, since we weren't racing was total bull****. After about 15 minutes they gave up and said "well, ok, we believe you but the main reason we don't want you racing is because if you crash and die we have to do a lot of paperwork and that sucks.". I ended up with two ticket - they made sure to bust us on anything they could.

1. Drivers license address incorrect.
2. No front plate.

$20 in fines and two signatures later, I was good to go
