Why? Because we're talking about it. People do engine swaps into wierd cars for the attention. Why didn't he just buy a WRX? Because anyone can do that. There is no challange and no attention/reward. I personally think it's cool when people do stuff like this. It is thinking outside the box. Or in this case, putting something in a "box."

I think he would have saved money by just buying a used WRX and welding the LeBaron skin panels onto the body

LOL...true. but hey, i can get a lot of attention for doing somethign stupid too. i can completely rice out my car and put a supercharger in it. but that doesn't make the decision a wise or financially sound one.

to each his own...i was just curious why a le baron instead of a corolla or whatnot.
